Uproar over woman's sexy dance for boy on train: 'Too hot'

The unusual scene was filmed on the metro in Chengdu City in the south-central Chinese province of Sichuan on June 24, and the footage has since gone viral in China after it was widely shared on social networks sparking confusion and ridicule.

In the video, the woman is seen gyrating her hips and shaking her backside in front of the young boy.

The woman sensually uses the hand pole and grab handles on the train and at one point suggestively pulls her shirt up.At one point she can be seen nearly thrusting her backside into the face of nearby passenger filming the incident as the boy looks on, unsure what to make of the exclusive performance.

According to reports, the young woman arrived on the metro train with the boy and could actually be his mother, however this has yet to be confirmed by the local authorities.

Towards the end of the provocative routine the woman spins around before approaching the boy, wrapping her arms around him before giving him a kiss.

A complaint was filed with the train operator and the police are investigating the footage.

The authorities said they need to first establish the relationship between the woman and the boy as well as the circumstances behind her impromptu performance before deciding on the next course of action."Had she taken drugs? Was I the only one who thought she was committing sexual harassment?" commented one Weibo user.

"It was disgusting and she ruined the little boy. I feel like she suffers from a mental health disorder," another user wrote.

While the woman's relation to the child remains unclear, lawyer Chen Liang said in an interview with the Shanghai Law Journal that the woman’s behaviour could even be considered indecent assault under Chinese law.

"The woman behaved in a sexual manner in front of the boy by exposing her underwear, and the hug and kiss, for all that she could be charged with indecent assault on a juvenile," she said.
