Spears, 40, shared an Instagram photo on Monday, Oct. 10, to reminisce on an iconic Freddy Krueger-inspired look from years ago.

In the sultry snap, the pop singer appeared in an off-the-shoulder red and black striped long-sleeve top, giving hints of the infamous character from A Nightmare on Elm Street.

The look also featured black eye makeup, dark nails, and a deep red lip. But instead of Krueger's razor glove from the iconic Wes Craven film, Spears swapped the dangerous accessory for her own lace fingerless gloves, making the look more sexy than scary.
